Always Show Current Theme First in My Themes
Previously, when importing new themes, they would appear before the currently applied theme. Now, the current theme is always shown as the first one in the list.
Fix Another Android 13 Crash
Our last fix didn't resolve all the Android 13 crashes, so if you were still running into issues, this version should hopefully clear them up.

Fix Scrollbar Disappearing and Not Responding
Our last update introduced a bug that could make the alphabet scrollbar stop responding and disappear entirely, for example after rotating your device or returning to Niagara Launcher after it was in the background for a while. This has been fixed, so you can happily scroll through all of your apps again.

Restructured Feature Settings Screen for All Languages
We have restructured, flattened, and polished the feature settings (Niagara settings > Features) for English users a while back. Now that everything is translated, we are rolling those changes out to everyone. You can find the polished screen with productivity-related settings in a neat and sectioned list in Niagara settings > Productivity.

Increase Minimum Supported Android Version to 8 ("Oreo")
Until today, Niagara Launcher supported Android versions all the way down to Android 5, originally released back in 2014. It has gotten increasingly difficult to support such old versions, so we're now requiring at least Android 8. The previous analytics settings have been revamped into the new Privacy Settings, which you can find under Niagara Settings > Advanced > Privacy Settings. As part of this overhaul, there are now more granular controls for different types of analytics and explanations of how they are used.

What's New:
Fixed a crash on launch on Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 when using the work profile or private space.
Due to a bug in the latest Android 17 QPR2 beta, Niagara Launcher cannot access apps located in the work profile or private space.
We've added a workaround to prevent the launcher from crashing in this case. Since users are also reporting issues with Pixel Launcher, we expect Google to fix the underlying issue soon.
